Eastern Bank

Eastern Bank had participated in workplace surveys before. In 2006, they conducted their own survey, doing all of the administrative work themselves. However, they realized they were not able to process the results, so they hired a company to finish up the process.
In 2008, it was time to do another survey. They saw the Boston Globe's Top Workplaces program and decided to try it. Since many of the questions on that survey were similar to the data they had previously collected, they asked for a sample of what the results packages looked like.
Eastern Bank participated for the sole purpose of obtaining feedback and seeing results. However, their results were so good, they ended up making it on to the Top Workplaces list for the Boston Globe that year!
